Last week Spen's parents came and visited us and we showed them a few of our favorite places in San Diego!

One night we enjoyed a BBQ at La Jolla Shores...
It was so fun spending time with Sharon and Warren! It wasn't too sad when they left because Jack and I are headed to SLC tomorrow... and we will be back for good in August. We have mixed emotions about leaving our favorite place!
What is more American than baseball and hotdogs? For the 4th of July we went to the Padres game with a few friends from our ward. 
We sat in the bleacher seats, which were actually really kid-friendly... at the bottom of the bleachers was a huge sand pit. I kept thinking that one of the kids was going to get hit by a ball. 
I thought this was really cool... If you look in the far left of this picture you can see a building that says "Western Metal Supply Co." this building is actually 95 years old... The south corner of the building now serves as the left-field foul pole and they added seating on the outside... It really added a historical look to a new ballpark...

As many of you know we are leaving our favorite city... so lately we have been soaking up every chance we get to play at the beach!
